Horwich (pronounced "Horrich") occurs as town inside Greater Manchester, England, half way between Bolton and Chorley. A landscape of the metropolitan area is dominated by Winter Hill, Rivington_Pike and the West Pennine Moors. It was when a places of the locomotive works of the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway. A resident people of Horwich, when measured in the 2001 Nose count, was 14,343 of which 48 by the cent were male & 52 by the cent were female. Around 1891 a people was 12,850.

Inside 1967 Horwich Railway Station closed; 32 years late Horwich Parkway Railway Station opened in 1999. Manchester International Airport is 1 hour away by train.
